The Little Singers of Tokyo (L.S.O.T.) founded In 1951, by Shinichi Hasegawa as the "Boys choir of Tokyo". "Boys choir of Tokyo" aimed for introducing Renaissance music for Japanese children, and for introducing the straight-ahead European traditional choral music in Japan.
 Late father Paul Annuih who were teaching Renaissance church music and Gregorian chant in Tokyo, helped Shinichi Hasegawa as advisor and conductor of choir.
 In early years, exercise of choir was given at a class room of elementary school. In 1954, private studio for choir was completed at Shin-Okubo. (This studio is used from that day to this.; Photo up:Early members and Shinichi Hasegawa in studio at Shin-Okubo, 1958)

 In 1955,"Boys choir of Tokyo" (later L.S.O.T.) affiliated to Pueri Cantores as Japanese branch. (Photo left: Shinichi hasegawa, center gray suits. At the 6th international meeting of Pueri Cantores in 1956.) Little singers of Tokyo developed its technique through the international communication with time-honored European children choir.
 
In 1960, "Girls choir Tokyo" was founded by Shinichi Hasegawa. Few years later, In 1964, "Boys choir Tokyo" and "Girls choir Tokyo" amalgamated as "The Little Singers of Tokyo" before the first trip for north America.

 In 1964, for celebrating the accomplishment of Carnegie Hall, many musicians were invited from all over the world. L.S.O.T. was invited and organized the concert tour for USA. L.S.O.T. got on to "Ed Sullivan Show" and performed in Carnegie Hall, New York.

 Little singers visited 19 countries and territories (e.g. USA, Canada, French, Italy, United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Swiss, Hungary, Finland, Belgium, Spain, Monaco, Australia, New Zealand, China, Hong-Kong, Korea, Trust Territory of Okinawa)

In 1971, Saeko Hasegawa acceded to Chief Conductor of L.S.O.T. Saeko Hasegawa frequently conducted concert tour for Europe.
L.S.O.T. performed in a lot of European Gothic churches for experiencing the same resonance and sound which the famous medieval artists heard. In 1990, L.S.O.T. was awarded a prize for the winner of children's choir division at the International chorus competition sponsored by E.B.U. (European Broadcasting Union).

More over, L.S.O.T. performed with world famous artists, operatic theaters and orchestra....
